Alizabeth Denman-Cochrane
Alizabeth started very early in the fashion world; modeling at age 13 in locations ranging from New York to Europe. Throughout this time period in her life she watched and learned from some of the best artists around the world and began to appreciate and love the art of hair.
Her journey brought her to Los Angeles where it all came together. While assisting a photographer friend she got her lucky chance to do hair when the scheduled hairdresser had to leave set due to an emergency. She loved it and pulled it off with no experience. The pictures turned out great and that was that! Alizabeth started her education at Marinello in Los Angeles in 1998 while simultaneously doing an apprenticeship at Carlton Beauty at the Beverly Center. She then moved on to assist celebrity hairstylist Jay Diola at Salon Republic Studio 27, which led to her own chair at Salon Republic Studio 27 for the next 5 years. It was in 2005 Alizabeth made the move to Cush Salon where she feels a great creative and family like atmosphere to continue her passion for hair.
Throughout the years Alizabeth has worked on commercials, television (Sci-Fi Channel, MTV, VH1, NBC and HBO), music videos (Ozzy Osbourne, Meredith Brooks and Bec Hollcraft), fashion shows (Rachel Pally, Life & Death, WESC and Nordstrom), editorial (Dillards, Bloomingdales and TV Guide), weddings and celebrities. What Alizabeth loves most is being in the salon for her clients whom she loves to educate. Every time they sit in her chair she hopes to teach them something new about hair. She believes in being a well rounded hairstylist and her mastering of many different hair techniques proves just that. Some of her services include cutting, coloring (Redken specialist), color correction, lash tinting, extensions (8 years certified Hairlocs specialist), Japanese relaxer (8 years certified Liscio specialist), up-dos and styling. Alizabeth says "This is what I was born to do!" As life comes full circle sometimes after doing hair in Beverly Hills for three years Alizabeth has decided to return back to GOODFORM salon where she feels very much at home.
In March of 2012 Alizabeth decided to open her own studio with partner Ilana Pollack at Salon Republic West Hollywood.
